Royal Enfield has launched the all-new Hunter 350 in India at INR 1.50 Lakh making it one of the most affordable Royal Enfield motorcycles on sale. The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 comes in two variants - Retro and Metro. The base Retro variant is priced at INR 1.50 Lakh, while the higher Metro variant is priced between INR 1.64 Lakh and INR 1.69 Lakh depending on the colour options.The Hunter 350 is the third bike to be based on RE's J-platform after the Meteor 350 and the new Classic 350. Although the motorcycle is based on the same J platform, the Hunter 350 inclines more towards the brand's sportier side than its touring spirit.

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is powered by the same 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected counterbalanced engine as the Classic 350 but tweaked slightly differently. The motor delivers the same 20.2 PS at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. RE claims a top speed of 114 kmph and an economical mileage of 36.2 kmpl, considering its displacement. The bike gets a 13-litre fuel tank.Speaking of the competition, the Hunter 350 undercuts its direct rival, the Honda CB350RS, by a whooping INR 50,000. Similarly, it is also priced lower than the Jawa Forty Two and the Yezdi Roadster.
